Haulm’s debut EP “Stay For Me” out today
Stay For Me, the debut from Haulm, is out now!
Yesterday, KCRW premiered “Clean,” one of the icier moments on the EP. Much like previous singles, the song’s charm resides in the interplay between producer Reed Kackley’s dusky production and singer JT Norton’s crisp falsetto.
”Haulm are a duo based in Brooklyn who specialize in moody, downtempo electronic song craft,” KCRW says. “The haunting atmosphere they’ve created within the song “Clean,” is what initially drew me in, but what keeps me coming back is the evocative refrain “overage and underpaid, all I do is clean.” It’s a great line set to a deeply hummable melody, which gives me the strong feeling that they will not remain underpaid for long.”
Stay tuned for more from the duo soon.
