Over the weekend, The FADER unveiled “s_M00n,” a new music video from Bedstudy. Directed by Rodney Passé, it’s a quirk-filled live performance, bookended by vignettes of a budding romance. The song, which FADER called “a trip into electro-R&B funk and beyond” is on the band’s forthcoming dot wave EP, due this Friday. Pre-order it here.

Bedstudy return today with a new single and music video. “12,″ and its accompanying Tess Lafia-directed clip, was premiered this afternoon over on The405. “The video, which couples gorgeous cinematography with lush animation, is the perfect complement to the melancholic funk of Bedstudy,” says The405. “The group’s eclectic sound, mixing R&B, pulsing synth-pop and even a dash of indie pop, makes for listening that is equal parts relaxing and cathartic. The expressive vocals of Peter Baldwin play brilliantly off the drums of Ranson Vorpahl and the production of David Plakon.”

The song comes from a forthcoming EP, dot wave, which we’re very excited to be releasing in February of next year. There’s an Elsewhere gig to celebrate on 2/8, with tickets available oh so soon.

Couldn’t be more excited to welcome our friends in Bedstudy to the Grand Jury family. Today we’ve released their new single, “NE1.” The track takes the flickering charm of February’s “Nil” and the woozy stateliness of last year’s “Arms Away” and blasts them both into the most colorful outer space.
